Tanya’s initial experience working on campaigns was as an excited, optimistic intern on the 2008 presidential race in Denver. Her first job out of college was as a field organizer on a top targeted national race in Colorado’s 6th congressional district, and she truly believes that the heart of campaigns belongs to those out knocking doors. Tanya served as the Regional Field Director for the Western Slope of Colorado on the 2014 Coordinated Campaign. In 2015, Tanya joined Hillary for America as the State Field Lead for Colorado, remained as the Delegate Director of Colorado for Secretary Clinton through the caucus process, and continued as the Training Director through the November 2016 general election.

Tanya has a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and International studies from the University of Denver. She currently resides in Denver, and works on programming and fundraising for a local nonprofit. When she's not training Democrats, Tanya likes to spend her weekends hiking in the Rockies, going on brewery tours, and playing trivia.
