Jauwan Hall is a native Chicagoan and comes to NDTC after more than 10 years in government and public service. Immediately after high school, Jauwan joined the United States Marine Corps where he served three tours overseas as an Aviation Maintenance Administration Clerk and Aviation Data Analyst. He returned to Chicago in 2011 as a Marine Corps recruiter before transitioning from active duty service, and completed his undergraduate studies in Political Science and History at the University of Illinois at Chicago. While at UIC Jauwan served as the Student Member of the University Board of Trustees and completed federal fellowships with the Securities and Exchange Commission’s Regional Office in Chicago, and the United States Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Illinois. After graduation, Jauwan worked as a Legal Assistant in the Civil Division for the U.S. Attorney’s Office.
Jauwan is an active member of multiple community based and professional organizations and currently chairs the Board of Directors for Chicago Votes; a non-profit youth advocacy organization that works to empower young people through voter registration and voter education.
